NORFOLK FRUIT GROWERS’ ASSOCIATE offers CAD 15-25 hourly for the Warehouse Coordinator position. The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for keeping track of all incoming and outgoing fruit, products, and supplies utilizing the FAMOUS program and the corresponding paperwork at all times. The Norfolk Fruit Growers’ Association and Norfolk Cherry Company are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to ensure that raw materials are received, stored, and issued to production on time and that finished goods are loaded and shipped out on time. Make sure that all of your employees are focused on meeting shipping goals swiftly and effectively. Make sure everyone on staff understands their role in preserving the integrity of the food supply in terms of both legality and quality.

It is also important to talk openly about shipping quantities and priorities with the Production Supervisor. Share information about the movement of stored, packed product and supplies used in daily manufacturing at a warehouse. The Warehouse Coordinator must be able to successfully interact with management, production workers, and the Sales/Logistics team at Vineland Farmers.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

  • Able to easily switch between doing work and taking the lead on it across all areas of responsibility.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

  • Three to five years of management experience in a warehouse or dock environment is preferred, as is prior expertise operating a Forklift.
  • Candidates with college degrees will be given more consideration.
  • Superior abilities in both spoken and written communication.
  • Required skills include fluency with figures and a strong command of the computer.
  • Experience leading and inspiring a team in a collectively bargained setting is a plus.
