Salary for Volunteer Transportation Driver job:

• CAD 20-30 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Always look out for our client’s best interests and advocate for their respect and freedom from exploitation.
• Conduct yourself at all times in accordance with the Helping Hands’ Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Vehicle circle checks, fuel receipts, and incident reports should all be submitted on the day of servicing.
• Share with the Manager any client-related updates or worries you may have.
• Respect the guidelines set forth by the Helping Hands organization.
• Take part in training programs as assigned by upper management.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as needed

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Possessing a warm, welcoming, and patient demeanor
• Competence in handling a variety of competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Strong moral character; may be relied upon
• Ability to operate with a minimum of direction and supervision
• Capacity to help persons with mobility devices, lift light equipment, and help people get in and out of cars
• Accurate Ontario License to drive, with a clean driving record,.
• Documentation showing at least $1,000,000 in Volunteer vehicle liability insurance
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and criminal background check.
• Being able to communicate well in French is a plus.
