Salary for Utility Worker job:

• CAD 15-25 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Perform janitorial, laundry, decontamination, and trades help under general direction.
• Works with decontamination equipment and processes, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment, surfaces, and places.
• To help workers get dressed for and undress from shifts in potentially hazardous environments.
• Work involving the relocation of radioactive waste
• In order to aid in the education of other workers.
• Tasks include checking, labeling, logging, sorting, weighing, pressing, and handling protective and specialized clothing for CRL.
• Maintains and records issues and lost or damaged garments, and operates a variety of laundry-related machines.
• Work as a semi-skilled assistant to journeymen under the supervision of a lead hand, foreman, or journeyman.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• You need to have finished high school.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow both verbal and written instructions is required.
• The ability to operate the necessary machinery is required.
• Familiarity with structures and localities is a must.
• Candidates must be open to receiving further training pertinent to the position.
• The ability to use tools and procedures as needed, to plan one’s own work, and to make simple decisions is sufficient.
• Be comfortable working in both high and tight spaces.
• The ability to collaborate with different people is a must.
• Must be in charge of keeping relevant records.
• You need to be in good shape.
