Canadian Helicopters provides transport via helicopter as well as maintenance and pilot instruction. The Canadian Helicopters, which has been in operation since 1947, is the country’s largest helicopter operator, with over 20 bases and a fleet of roughly 100 helicopters and other aircraft types. This Les Cedres-based role reports to the Divisional Controller and is accountable for the upkeep, support, and development of applications hosted on the iSeries AS400 server. You will be relied upon to work autonomously across teams to develop new apps and improve existing AS400 systems.

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Build safeguards to make sure your system reliably satisfies your company’s quality requirements.
• Using quality assurance checks to make sure everything is running well.
• Work together with other divisions to create innovative software.
• Other tasks related to accounting as needed
• Experience with aviation maintenance tracking and timekeeping systems is a plus.
• It is essential that you have prior experience with financial procedures such as fixed assets control, general ledger, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of servers and networking fundamentals is required.
