The Warehouse Associate’s primary responsibility is the safe and effective receipt, verification, storage, and distribution of goods to the sales floor and throughout the warehouse. Warehouse associates are also responsible for the general upkeep and tidiness of the facility. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved in this role.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Maintains inventory by scanning and verifying new products and storing excess inventory.
• Sends a package back and fills out the necessary forms.
• Offers the team the enabling procedures needed to improve the shopping experience for customers as a whole
• Keeping warehouse order so that everyone can find what they need quickly and easily.
• Taking care of complaints, questions, and requests from both customers and employees in a prompt manner.
• Providing on-demand product delivery and set-up.
• Adjusts for discrepancies in stock levels.
• Sorts and loads retail floor carts with inventory, and prepares items for filing.
  follows company procedure for trash collection, cardboard recycling, and discarding damaged goods.
• Handles claims for shipping damages and returns.
• Fixes damaged shipping containers as required.
• Works with computers and scanners, entering data into Canadian Tyre databases.
• A warehouse equipment operator’s primary duty is to ensure the security of all warehouse machinery.
• Follows all protocols for dealing with potentially harmful materials.
