Permanent Evening Shipper wanted for Giant Tiger Wholesale’s brand-new, fully automated 660,000 square foot distribution center in Johnstown, ON! Salary:

• CAD 15-25 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Earn $19.43 an hour to start!
• Night shift workers earn $2 more each hour, from 9:00pm until 6:00am.
• Pay raises at 1040 hours, 2080 hours, 4160 hours, and every year after that are built in automatically;
• Save 10% on food and 20% on apparel at the Giant Tiger!
• After three months of employment, employees are eligible for full medical benefits, and GTW will pay the premium for those benefits. Other perks include a 24-hour gym, a games area, and a fully stocked Micromarket in the break room, where employees may purchase food at a discounted rate.
• Staff parties and summer cookouts every week;
• Overtime pay starts at 44 hours and is voluntary;
• Consistent emphasis on health and safety from day one!
• Drive and control forklifts and low-lift pallet jacks;
• Check and double-check pallets for accuracy; load and sort pallets into appropriate locations; be responsible for precise pallet placement.
• Proven track record in the transportation industry;
• Knowledge of the Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMOS) or voice picking is a plus.
