We are looking for a Sandwich and Salad Maker to join our team at the Elk Valley Lodge in Elkford, British Columbia. The Sandwich & Salad Maker is accountable for the quality and presentation of all salads and sandwiches. This person must also ensure that products are rotated appropriately and that sufficient quantities are prepared for the number of expected guests.

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Maintaining a Risk-Free Work Environment
• Participating in regular meetings with the Chef to plan the optimal methods for making sandwiches and salads
• Keeping up with the kitchen’s daily demands for sandwich and salad production, storage, rotation, and service.
• Performing regular daily, weekly, and monthly checks on all food and equipment in the facility Other jobs as needed
• Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work successfully and efficiently with minimum supervision
• One year of experience as a Sandwich/Salad Maker in the hotel/restaurant business
• Capacity to prioritize and juggle several tasks
• Adapts well to stressful situations Food Safety Certification Necessary
