Here at Northview, we pride ourselves on being a team that cares deeply about the people who live in our apartments and works tirelessly to improve them. Alongside our Canadian citizens, hotel guests, and commercial tenants, we are happy to call these communities home. A Room Attendant is needed at our hotel in Iqaluit, NU. You will be cleaning and servicing guest rooms as part of your regular tasks, reporting to the Operations Manager, Hotel. As representatives of the hotel, room attendants are responsible for ensuring that visitors have a favorable experience while staying there.

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Comes in and gets things set up for cleaning
• Cleans the air and furniture of dust
• Get ready for bed.
• Supplies in guest rooms and bathrooms are restocked.
• Does the laundry
• Organizes one’s closet
• Please vacuum the rugs.
• Verify and lock the space
• As needed, participate in a cleaning rotation.
• Responds to calls, requests, and complaints from guests.
• The one in charge of sticking to the established protocol
• Finish the shift with a clean, stocked housekeeping cart.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by higher-ups
