Give good customer service in the grocery section of the Centre Store. Responsible for keeping standards in line with the standard practice guidebook, making sure customers are happy, selling as much as possible, and losing as little as possible by using standard practice right.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Keep a positive attitude towards customers and put the most stress on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to make shopping a pleasant experience.

• When filling shelves, use a damp cloth to clean the shelf tag moldings and the shelves.
• Keep track of shelf assignments by stocking from tag to tag. Only put items on the shelves that can sold.
• Make sure that the policies and rules followed when buying, receiving, preparing, conditioning, and displaying goods.
• Learn how to use tools like the average cost inventory system (ACIS) and the ordering system (CAO).
• Maintain a full understanding of the company’s rules, policies, and standard practices and follow them.
• Learn the rules and methods for food safety and workplace safety and stick to them.
• Watch for and fix any unsafe situations that could cause an employee or customer to get hurt.
• Follow Food Lion’s rules and tell the Manager on Duty about any problems that happen to employees or customers.
• Make sure to follow all city, state, and federal rules
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with a name tag when you’re on the job. You should look neat and clean and follow the Food Lion dress code.
• Complete the Computer Based Training (CBT), Training Packet, and Training Aid classes with a passing grade.
• Do whatever else asked of you.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Graduate of High School or its Equivalent Preferred.
• Ability to learn new tasks and the technical needs of the job quickly and with a positive attitude
• Ability to use technical information to solve difficulties
• Required to be of a certain age to execute one’s duties
• You need to be physically fit for the job, with or without adjustments.
