Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Graduate of or current student at a four-year college or university that meets all regional accreditation standards.
• Superb capacity for both verbal and nonverbal expression.
• Capacity to handle sensitive information responsibly.
• Capacity to take and follow instructions and to take the initiative when performing specified activities.
• Proven flexibility in the face of rapid change and shifting priorities.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team has been demonstrated.
• Follow the AIDET protocol (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You) while communicating with guests and their loved ones.
• Comply with RVH’s Privacy Pledge and Code of Conduct.
• Demonstrate the five RVH pillars of culture: Collaboration, Mutual Respect, Vision, and Ownership.
• Communicate with patients, community members, and staff with dignity and poise.
• Adheres to standards and procedures supported by evidence, such as those related to infection control, PPE, equipment safety, and collaboration.
• Helping patients and visitors make their way around and get the information they need.
• Move the sick and injured.
• Provide basic administrative support.
