Machine Operator job in Canada. Looking for a position as a Machine Operator job in Canada? SOPREMA offers CAD 20-30 hourly for the Machine Operator position. Factory laminated, custom-cut roofing insulation panels are a specialty of the Paris plant. We create roofing insulation solutions as a standalone insulation company.

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating the Asphalt Line, Membrane Lamination Line, Glue Line, Band saws, and Table saws under the direction of the Production Manager. He will also be in charge of doing quality checks on finished goods and making any necessary modifications to ensure they meet standards.

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Set up and manage multiple production lines to achieve targeted output;
• Manage a team of workers to meet daily production targets; Conduct quality control testing and troubleshooting.
• Discuss any problems or concerns that might affect output with the production manager;
  Handling of materials by hand;
• Perform duties in a secure manner and in accordance with all ModulR TS Inc. regulations;
• Perform duties on all machines in the manufacturing area on a rotating basis; Observe and enforce all safety and non-safety procedures;
• Maintain a high level of quality and cleanliness by making sure they are followed.
• Although prior expertise in operating machines is preferable, we are happy to train the right candidate.
• Working knowledge of forklifts is a plus, as is the ability to understand blueprints and user guides.
• Prior familiarity with PLC or a similar system.
