Health services are provided by Northern Health in more than two dozen municipalities and 55 First Nation communities throughout an area of nearly 600,000 square kilometers. Selected applicants are required to comply with the Provincial Health Officer’s mandated COVID-19 immunization orders in order to be considered for this position.
For a population of 300,000, we provide medical services in hospitals and the surrounding communities. The Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre is seeking a committed Laundry Worker to fill a casual position.

• CAD 15-25 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Full-time and part-time workers respectively are eligible for the municipal pension plan and extended health and dental insurance. Benefits are voluntary for casual employees.
• After working for a year, you’re entitled to four weeks off.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as is at least one year of recent, relevant work experience in a commercial or industrial laundry.
• Competence in both spoken and written expression.

• Capability to use relevant machinery.
• Organizational skills.
• Capacity to exert authority.
