Salary Kitchen General Assistant job:

• CAD 15-25 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Prepare food for the next shift, stock and clean the refrigerator and freezer, make sandwiches, and light cooking and grilling.
• Maintain brand integrity and food safety regulations.
• Clean the equipment and certain places on a daily basis.
• Carry out any additional duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Employees are expected to learn the safest manner to complete tasks and consult superiors when they have questions.
• Superior assistance for clients
• Prepares and cooks food in accordance with the menu and the amount of people who will be served, under the direction of the First Cook.
• Keeps the dining room tidy by clearing clutter and mopping the floor and shelves.
• Serves guests by clearing and resetting tables and replenishing drinks and condiments
• Provides routine cleaning and upkeep of steam and salad table equipment.
• Makes hot and cold drinks, and occasionally assists with steam tables.
• Carries out supplementary tasks in a similar vein as directed by management
