Kativik Regional Government (KRG) is seeking a self-motivated and proactive candidate to fill a newly created position. KRG is a supra-municipal organization with jurisdiction over the territory north of the 55th parallel. The Janitor, who reports to the Operations Coordinator, is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment by performing duties such as mopping, waxing, vacuuming, emptying trash cans, washing windows, etc. The KRG is an affirmative action/race-neutral workplace. Job Responsibilities and Overview:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• possessing a minimum of three months of relevant experience in cleaning servicing; being familiar
• with various pieces of cleaning equipment; comprehending cleaning chemicals; being accessible for training;
• being dependable, on time, and able to work nights and weekends;
• Having strong moral principles.
• Maintaining, disinfecting, and stocking the lavatory;
• Cleaning glass surfaces, such as windows and walls;
• Cleaning the dust off furniture, walls, and machinery;
• reporting all necessary repairs to management;
• Taking on any additional responsibilities that arise, as directed by management.
• Sweep, clean, scour, and/or hoover the floor to get rid of dirt and debris;
• Floor maintenance including stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing;
• Collecting trash cans, emptying their contents, and transporting the waste to the main
