Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• The Janitor’s primary duty is to keep the dealership and its surrounding areas clean and safe for customers and staff. This includes tasks such as vacuuming the service area, washing the service vehicles, and sweeping the floors.
• Maintains a tidy reception area and service areas
• Regular building maintenance is carried out with as little disruption to tenants and workers as possible.
• Performs a thorough cleaning of all glass surfaces in the area to be serviced.
• Cleans the restrooms for the technicians, the floors of the service and body shops, the showroom, the hallways, and the snack machines.
• Removes snow and other debris from the driveway and walkways.
• Cleans the shop vehicle, inside and out.
• Removes rubbish from indoor and outdoor bins and cleans them thoroughly.
• Cleans up the entire parking lot.
• Performs maintenance on oil storage tanks as required.
• Used oil filters are drained and discarded in an appropriate manner.
• After consulting with the Parts Manager, eliminates the shop’s obsolete, unused scrap components.
• Helps professionals clean up oil and water leaks and removes debris from drain tubs.
• Performs tasks assigned by the foreman.
• Wears safety goggles, gloves, and clothing when working with hazardous materials.
• learns the company’s Health and Safety Guidelines and follows them
