Salary Housekeeper job:

• CAD 20-30 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Taking orders, gathering the necessary equipment and supplies, loading the service cart, and bringing it to the designated area.
• Maintains resident rooms in accordance with established cleaning schedules.
• Rearranges furniture, sweeps, vacuums, and uses dry and wet mops to clean and disinfect the space.
• Maintaining residents’ confidentiality when working in their homes.
• Make sure the room is always ready for a tour and ready for a new guest by following all the rules.
• Notifying management when resources are low or problems arise.
• Carrying out other responsibilities as needed.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Experience in a similar role is essential.
• Read, write, and comprehend English well enough to follow written directions.
• Knowledgeable in the proper use of chemicals and machinery.
• Capability to work both alone and in a group.
• Knowledgeable in the proper use of chemicals and machinery.
• Educated with regards to WHMIS.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with residents and coworkers.
• The Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory for all applicants. Only residents of Ontario, Canada need apply.
