Job Responsibilities and Overview:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Act as a fearless role model in terms of safety and compliance with environmental regulations and policies.
• Work 12-hour shifts, including overnights, driving transport trucks with capacities ranging from 180 to 400 tons.
• Be able to work and function normally in all kinds of weather, from sunshine to heavy rain and snow.
• Carry out a variety of chores that may require frequent lifting
• Verify the equipment’s readiness for use by checking its tires, fluids, lights, and brakes.
• Use in-vehicle technology, such as a two-way radio or a computer, to have conversations with dispatch, other drivers, and higher-ups.
• Handle electrical cables, transport supplies across the pit, inspect or drive equipment, and perform other pit utility jobs.
