General Laborers are needed at our Richardson Port Terminal in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Canola and cereal grains are sent to countries in the Pacific Rim, and you have the chance to work at one of the most effective grain-handling facilities in the world. Starting out as a General Laborer, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the skills necessary for advancement into a variety of Production roles within our robust and diverse organization.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Must be able to lift and stack 50 pounds without assistance and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Capability to perform risky tasks with minimal oversight in a manufacturing setting
• Ability with machines and familiarity with computers
• Ability to reason and solve problems
• Capacity for productive interaction within a group
• A willingness to learn new aspects of our industry and receive cross-training is indicative of a teachable spirit, initiative, and hard work.
• Consistently high standards of work ethic and safety
• Capability to work in adverse environments, such as those involving confinement, heights, dust, and severe temperatures

• Possess the flexibility to work various shifts, such as day, evening, and graveyard shifts.
