Operating out of its headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Pieridae Energy Limited is a wholly Canadian company. As a midstream company, we are primarily concerned with exploration. Pieridae Waterton Gas Complex, a high-pressure sour gas plant located southwest of Pincher Creek, Alberta, is looking for a safety-conscious professional to fill a Waterton operations post.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• The safe operation of a first-class, 5500 e3m3/d sour gas plant including a fractionation unit, stabilization unit, deep cut, sulfur plant, and all associated utilities is your responsibility.
• In a major industrial context, they are in charge of isolating hazards and approving work.
• All necessary WHMIS, ABSA, and ASME standards
• Power boilers at the site must be operated in accordance with regulations, and a logbook must be kept.
• You’re obligated to use the site’s safety measures.
• The ability to field and route calls from the general public with questions or comments on on-site operations

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Working knowledge of sour gas processing plants is necessary.
• Certification in power engineering to a minimum of the third level
• You need at least a Class 5 license to drive here.
• HS Alive, First Aid, WHMIS, and TDG certifications are all up to date.
• Proven flexibility in the face of process evolution.
• Proven fluency with computers and familiarity with automated operation systems.
• Superb verbal and listening abilities.
• Proven aptitude for analysis and problem solutions.
• Superb capacity for planning and executing projects.
