In addition to providing great, proactive, and prompt customer service, the primary responsibility of an export operator is to examine and process shipment transactions, including all related activities, for one or more significant accounts. Responsible for acting as the point of contact for assigned account contract matters. Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment to ensure that work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to Company standards.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Build trust with clients by consistently providing them with prompt, courteous service while working closely with other departments and outside partners to improve the quality of their work. Create in-
• depth procedures and profiles that accurately reflect export operations.
• Client bookings, billing, classifications, data processing through the Company’s system, and
• obtaining consular and other government agency releases as necessary for high-volume and/or complex export operations.
• Handle bills of lading and give detailed instructions on how shipments should be handled to the team.
• Check and process shipments containing hazardous materials in line with all International Air
• Transport Association, Code of Federal Regulations requirements.
• Produce quotes for specific shipments, including cost estimates for the shipper, selection of
• transportation providers, and establishment of profit margins.
• Keep up with and report any changes to domestic or international shipping regulations to clients, coworkers, and outside parties in a timely way.
• Find transactions and tasks that need extra attention, suggest better processes to management, and put those ideas into effect within your remit.
• Monitor team performance against Company and customer standards to identify, investigate, and
• proactively resolve all areas of client complaints. Warn the customer if there are any unusual issues with their shipment.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Extensive phone interaction with carriers and other parties involved in the transportation process means previous experience in customer service is essential.
• Familiarity with national and global maps and their respective key cities.
• Able to write complicated letters about problems and possible solutions with ease. Organise, arrange, and assemble documents or reports including data from multiple sources; edit and proof business correspondence and reports.
• Superior ability to analyze situations and find viable solutions.
• Possessing a firm grasp of mathematical concepts and the ability to quickly convert between different units of measure and money is essential for providing accurate estimates to clients.
  analytical skills necessary to address the client’s complex shipping challenges.
• The skill to create reports, charts, and graphs using the Company-issued versions of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.
