Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic and primary/secondary AC/DC electrical systems and equipment, as well as the associated manufacturing control equipment, which is characterized by highly integrated circuits, a large number of components with unusual operating features, and extremely critical requirements that necessitate the development of troubleshooting techniques due to the experimental or developmental nature of the designs. Work on prototypes of automated equipment with integrated electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems; collaborate with engineers to create and improve designs; execute other related responsibilities as needed. Certification of successful completion of a two-year program at a recognized trade school or the demonstration of proficiency gained through relevant work experience is required.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Prepare for and complete tasks with minimal oversight but maximum autonomy.
• Develop and oversee the work of allocated plant trades Helpers, Junior Trades Workers, and Trades Workers
• Work together with the appropriate employees in your business and others to identify issues and develop recommendations based on your trade expertise.
• Conforms to 29 CFR 1910.120, “Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response”
• (HAZWOPER) standards for emergency response technicians at the state and federal levels.
• Get a passing score on the requisite physical exam, as set forth by federal and state law.
• Taking care of one’s own health and safety on the job by always following safety protocols, including wearing and stowing away protective gear as directed.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Control panels (touch screens) for mechanical devices.
• Problem-solving, Capable of identifying and fixing machine flaws
• English language reading and writing
• Able to make sense of and interpret electrical schematics and other similar one-line diagrams
• Effective use of time
• Expertise with computers (to locate machine components and schematics).
• Mobile app usage
• Completion of a recognized trade school program or the demonstration of proficiency in lieu of formal training.
• Required to be flexible with work hours.
