GIANT TIGER offers CAD 20-30 hourly for the eCommerce Warehouse Associate position. Warehouse Associates are needed full-time at Giant Tiger Wholesale’s (GTW) e-Commerce Fulfillment Center in Ottawa, Ontario. Individuals with a desire for long-term employment in an environment where professional growth is fostered are sought. After two years of service with GTW, eCommerce Warehouse Associates are eligible for wage raises and profit-sharing incentives. Along with comprehensive medical and dental coverage and a retail discount, Warehouse Associates will also receive training on material handling equipment.

Salary for eCommerce Warehouse Associate job :

• CAD 20-30 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Process incoming goods by sorting and storing them.
• Gather goods for inspection using Pick Tickets.
• Prepare items for transportation by placing them in suitable containers.
• Apply the shipping label to the box.
• Input packed order information into the order management system
• Determine the best course of action for disposing of returned goods based on their condition.
• Put stock counts in Excel and the warehousing program.
• As directed, clean and organize the storeroom.
• Adhere to OHSA and MSDS Standards, as well as GTW’s policies and procedures.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time
• Capable of lifting up to 50-pound boxes
• Possessing prior experience with pallet jacks, reach stackers, and counterbalance forklifts is a plus.
• Extremely meticulous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• IT savvy with experience utilizing Microsoft Office and other programs
• Working knowledge of AS400 is a plus.
