Dishwasher job in Canada. Are you looking for a position as a Dishwasher job in Canada? RUTHS CHRIS DIXON ROAD offers CAD 15-25 hourly for the Dishwasher position. Employees in all BOH jobs are required to show up for their shifts on time, dressed appropriately, and with good hygiene and cleanliness routines in place. At the start of the shift, each worker will check in with the Manager on Duty to learn their specific station assignment for the duration of the shift. Throughout their shifts, all team members will be responsible for keeping the facility clean and the food safe. They must follow all safety procedures and protocols, and report any unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, accidents, or injuries immediately to the Head Chef or other on-duty Manager.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Performs assigned front-of-house cleaning duties. Before the restaurant opens, be sure to clean the floors, bar flooring/mats, garbage cans, and bathrooms.
• Follows the housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance schedule set by the kitchen and other management to ensure the building’s outside is kept clean and in good working order.
• Performs regular maintenance of dish machine, including setting up and breaking down arms, screens, and baskets. Completely scrubs and polishes the machine.
• Verifies proper functioning of the dish machine and notifies a manager of any issues discovered.
• Ensures that there are adequate supplies of clean dishware, glasses, cutlery, cups, bowls, pots, pans, and other small wares and equipment to suit the demands of the business.
• Makes periodic checks throughout dishwashing to make sure the water in the dishwasher is at the right temperature.
• Regularly takes out trash from the kitchen and dish room and deposits it in the dumpster during the shift. Maintains clean garbage can liners and regularly cleans trash cans.
• Performs frequent checks throughout the shift to ensure that full linen bags are removed and replaced.
• Helps front-of-house and back-of-house staff maintain a clean and comfortable space for customers and employees by performing spot cleaning duties.
• Helps organize and stock the restaurant’s inventory, including food, equipment, supplies, small wares, and more.
• Depending on the needs of the business performs tasks in either the front or back of the house on an as-needed basis.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Must regularly lift and carry 50 pounds of materials, including meals, small wares, equipment, supplies, and paper goods, and occasionally lift and carry 100 pounds.
• The ability to stand for up to four hours at a time while moving around steadily is required.
• Receive and store merchandise, supplies, and equipment, as well as run the line during service intervals, necessitating frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, and squatting.
