This job assists the Executive Chef and the Chef de Partie in maintaining an adequate supply of clean glassware for service and reports to the Executive Chef. Cleaning up used dishware and utensils after they’ve been used. Storing away freshly washed dishes and silverware. Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen on a regular basis. Helping out with inventory duties. Cooperating well with others to guarantee a sanitary and productive kitchen environment in which to prepare meals. Working in various departments of the casino’s food service as needed.

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Candidates must pass a criminal background check and register with the Saskatchewan Liquor and
• Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR) to work in the gaming industry.
• A person must be at least 19 years old to work in a casino or other gaming-related establishment.
• Some SIGA sites must function in a very sensory-rich setting. You may have to work in a place where there is a lot of noise, a lot of bright lighting, a lot of people smoking around you, and a lot of other unpleasant conditions. SIGA abides by all health and safety requirements in the workplace and takes every effort to mitigate their impact.
• SIGA has a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy because we care about the well-being of our staff and customers.
• In accordance with the requirements of the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist
• Financing Act and the regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC, as well as any other applicable regulatory requirements, such as SLGA requirements.
