Delivering a sufficient sample for analysis requires familiarity with the basics of the sample reception process. To properly prepare samples, a fundamental understanding of microbiology and chemistry would be useful. The ability to drive a motor vehicle is a must for this position. Driving safely is a prerequisite for this position. The ability to connect politely and professionally with customers is crucial when making deliveries. Possessing good time management abilities will make it easier to pick up all planned deliveries on time. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and experience to keep the sample secure and undamaged. A diploma from an accredited secondary school or similar work experience is required.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Sunday at midnight is the official start time.
• The incumbent is responsible for demonstrating safe driving practices and keeping his or her driving record in good standing with the company’s insurance provider.
• Pick up the client’s sample on schedule and bring it to the lab.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and alert the lab to any unanticipated needs.
• Maintain strict adherence to all SOPs established for your division.
• Make sure the sample is kept at the right temperature by checking it frequently.
• Keep detailed records for the department, including mileage, vehicle upkeep, and other pertinent information.
• Any deviations from the quality system or test procedures must be documented in line with the established complaint system, and it is the responsibility of this position to do so.
• Respect all rules pertaining to safety.
• Carry out further tasks in a similar vein
