• CAD 20-30 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Cleans carpets, upholstery, and upholstered surfaces by vacuuming, spot cleaning, and shampooing as needed.
• Maintains and restocks bathroom facilities by cleaning, washing, and disinfecting all fixtures and surfaces.
• Removes stains and spills.
• Brings out the shine in metals, wood, brass, etc.
• Refrigerators are defrosted, cleaned, and disinfected.
• Pictures, wall mounts, wall hangings, light fixtures, and mirrors are all affected by the damp dust.
  Creates a high-quality moist dusting.
• Dry dust on all ceramic tile surfaces.
  disposes of rubbish and garbage by collecting it.
• Report any signs of pests or infestation to the Supervisor after emptying the trash cans.
• Cleans trash cans and waste rooms.
• Capacity to back the Toronto Public Service’s core values of fairness, diversity, and respect in the workplace.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Sets out trash cans for collection.
• Cleans ceilings by vacuuming tiles, air ducts, and frames.
• Responsible for the assembly, relocation, and disassembly of event furnishings.
• Protects and keeps an eye on the premises.
• Maintains records of work accomplished on maintenance requests, vandalism, and other issues, and reports them to a supervisor as necessary.
• Taking readings of the temperature of the hot water in use, along with auditing and filling out related paperwork.
• Changes light bulbs, clears drains and toilets, and tightens door hinges among other small maintenance tasks.
• Contributes to the daily cleaning of the servery and the monthly cleaning of the main kitchen.
• Maintains and stores machinery and tools.
• Clears and salts sidewalks, parking lots, and driveways; may also be responsible for light landscaping.
• Performs loading and unloading of materials and restocking tasks as needed.
• Manages the supplies in the cleaning cart.
• Takes care of the stockroom.
