Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• A school bus driver’s major responsibility is to get pupils to and from school in a timely, orderly fashion without incident.
• School bus driving endorsement on a valid Class 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 driver’s license
• A clean driving record, as decided by the Board in its sole discretion.
• Passing the required medical exam as per Board policy and the guidelines set forth in the Highway Traffic Act
• Training in first aid, defensive driving, or the operation of heavy machinery would all be helpful.
• The length of the route is used to calculate the hourly rate. Additional perks as per the existing Terms of Employment Contract.
