Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Inputs information into the computer system using the keyboard or other data entry device.
• Data entry involves keying in text, numbers, or symbols from paper documents into a computer system according to the on-screen template.
• Checks for input errors by comparing inputted data with original documents or by entering data again in a verification format on the screen.
• Replaces faulty information with the correct one and delete the old one.
• Information to be entered is compiled, organized, and checked for accuracy.
• Documents actions taken.
• This shift goes from afternoon until night.
