The job of the Weighbridge Operator is to check the weight of all incoming and outgoing raw material trucks, conduct quality inspections of all cargoes, and direct raw materials to the appropriate storage areas. The Intake Operator is also responsible for keeping track of raw material stockpiles and communicating any changes to the RM planning Team at headquarters.

Salary for Weighbridge Operator job:

• GBP 10-20 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Maintain the weighbridge and log the weight of each vehicle using it.
• Perform non-conformance actions based on the results of raw material sampling.
• Verify and document the vehicle loading history.
• Carry out stock-taking procedures as needed.
• Make sure that the intake and yard areas are kept clean by visiting haulers.
• Send off raw materials and completed goods samples for testing after entering data into the AX business system.
• Keep all paper and digital logs necessary for this position per ABN and UFAS policy.
• Keep your assigned workspace neat and tidy at all times, and assist with another shift cleaning
• responsibilities as needed to maintain UFAS’s high standards of cleanliness.
• Performing a wide variety of practical chores including painting, helping with repairs, tearing and tipping, emptying tote bins, and collecting inventory.
