Salary for Warehouse Operative job:

• GBP 10-15 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Pallet loading onto delivery vans and trailers.
• Palletized goods offloading from arriving trucks and trailers.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor at the warehouse.
• Make sure everything you do in your job is done safely and in accordance with the company’s SSOWs and HACCP guidelines.
• You are to complete any and all operational tasks related to goods-in, put-away, replenishment, picking, marshaling, loading, de-kitting, recycling, and damages as directed.
• In order to achieve and sustain levels of performance and productivity commensurate with those set by the Company.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the tasks at hand and the environmental conditions.
• Maintain high levels of sanitation and adherence to site policies and procedures.
• You are responsible for properly using and caring for all company-issued equipment.
• Make sure the right paperwork is filled out for things like incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Immediately following company policy, you must report any problems with MHE, equipment, or buildings so that everyone can return to work in a safe environment.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• familiarity operating a mechanical or electric barrow truck (MHE) is a plus.
• You don’t mind working in a temperature of 2.5 degrees Celsius (warm clothes recommended).
• You don’t mind getting your hands dirty and are adept at case-picking.
• One weekend day of work is possible for you.
• Knowledge of working under pressure to meet strict deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• High proficiency in both spoken and written English.
