You’ll play a crucial role on the depot maintenance crew, which is accountable to the public for the cleanliness and orderliness of the depot and the trains. Weekends and federal holidays are included in your permanent day shift schedule that spans seven days.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• To clean out storage areas and maintenance facilities
• The purpose of this position is to clean trains using the appropriate chemicals and procedures as
• outlined in the applicable guidelines and manuals.
• Explore options for raising quality and adaptability among the cleaning staff.
• Develop, strengthen, and keep up positive collaborations
• Establish and sustain an environment free from hazards conducive to productive work, and adhere strictly to applicable safety regulations.

Qualification

• Experience cleaning in a production or warehouse setting is preferred, but not required.
• An NVQ in cleaning and/or support services, or progress toward one, is highly recommended.
• Possessing or actively pursuing a BIT (Business Improvement Training) certification is a plus.
• Awareness of COSHH and other workplace safety measures. It is preferable to have IOSH training.
