Security Officer job in the UK. Are you looking for a position as a Security Officer job in the UK? HEAD OFFICE UK offers GBP 10-20 hourly for the Security Officer position. Your primary duty in this important position will be to prevent harm to people, their possessions, and other tangible things. You’ll aid the campus’s business continuity and disaster recovery efforts by providing security services when needed and assisting other groups. This position is responsible for delivering security services across our 14-building, 60-acre Bracknell complex. This position requires a commitment of 42 hours a week on average, split between night and day shifts (working 4 on, 4 off).

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Maintaining the site’s safety and security while on patrol and in the Security Control Room.
• Using radios, phones, and memos to keep in touch during shifts.
• Having an awareness of and adherence to the necessary methods and processes to safeguard Partnership property from loss or damage.
• Participating as the Chief Evacuation Marshal in all necessary drills and evacuations and completing all necessary reports afterward.
• Assisting with campus recovery in the event of service outages or other disruptions, and playing a crucial role in business continuity.
• Setting an example of excellent service to customers to ensure they are considered in all business decisions.
• Assistance and direction for anyone utilizing the Campus.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Superior ability to interact and communicate with a wide range of constituents.
• The ability to maintain composure under pressure has been demonstrated.
• Proven initiative, capacity to take charge and make your own decisions, and the courage to question authority when necessary.
• Possessing first-rate abilities in dealing with customers.
• A solid understanding of video surveillance, access control, and modern security systems.
• Knowledge of how to prevent crime.
• Proven ability to investigate.
