As a Laundry Technician, it will be your job to disinfect and clean all of the medical beds and mattresses that come back to our facility after being rented out.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Infection control-approved procedure for cleaning hospital mattresses and bed frames.
• Keep all items moving smoothly through the laundry on a daily basis.
• Keep tabs on washing output.
• Observance of all applicable Health & Safety procedures.
• Finds broken machinery that needs fixing and suggests ways to enhance operations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor, provided they are reasonable.
• Approaches problems with a sense of rationality and practicality.
• Competence in setting and readjusting priorities.
• Awareness of when to take a situation further.
• Ability to deliberately and precisely update records.
• Health and safety consciousness.
• Product decontamination experience in an industrial laundry setting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Ability to convey ideas effectively.
• Competent in writing.
• The ability to lift and carry big objects for extended periods of time is required.
