On the Isle of Wight, we need a General Builder to lead our Property Repairs Group. Due to the travel requirements of this position, we will provide you with a company van, fuel card, and the following benefits package:

As a member of our Responsive Repairs Team, your responsibilities as a Builder will include performing a wide range of general construction repairs and maintenance tasks throughout our properties. You should preferably be experienced in the building trade OR hold at least an NVQ Level 2 in a related field. You will be able to provide excellent customer service and have expertise working in both occupied and empty buildings.

• GBP 10-20 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Repairing broken pipes, adding soakaways, and excavating subterranean drainage systems.
• Roofing, roof repairs, checking roof condition, and fixing leaking gutters.
• Minor cement repairs including repointing, rendering, tiling, and pointing.
• Feather edge, post, chain link, and panel fencing are all available.
• Putting down flooring, tiles, and self-leveling compound
• Brick and blockwork repairs.
• Twenty-five days off plus bank holidays (may increase by one day every year, to a maximum of thirty)
