BETSI CADWALLADER UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD offers GBP 27000 Yearly for the Decontamination Technician position. The Ysbyty Bryn Y Neuadd in Llanfairfechan is currently accepting applications for an Equipment Decontamination/Stores Technician. Community equipment (such as wheelchairs and walkers) is available to hospitals and the general public in North West Wales thanks to the North West Wales Community Equipment Service. Gwynedd, Conwy, and Anglesey County Councils and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board work together to provide this service. Total separation of dirty and clean equipment is achieved, and clean equipment is not contaminated during personnel handling thanks to PPE.

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Maintaining a sanitary and risk-free workplace. Everything from keeping the warehouse and trucks clean to properly securing and racking equipment.
• Driving a Health Board truck to carry equipment to patients’ homes is a supplementary duty of this position, along with some light administrative duties.
