Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Have a genuine interest in cooking and the desire to put in long hours in a constantly changing kitchen.
• Have a minimum of one year of experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
• Possess an excellent memory and the ability to plan ahead.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and a passion for teamwork are all pluses.
• Carry a Food Hygiene Certificate of Competency or higher.
• Be open to working various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Possess a decent demeanor and look presentable at all times.
• have a history of success and dedication in their field.
• Using fresh, local ingredients, cooked to perfection in a variety of styles.
• Management of a kitchen division, including the preparation and presentation of all dishes within that division’s purview.
• Making sure that everyone gets their food on schedule.
• Ensure that high-quality standards are maintained throughout the whole food preparation and production process by managing food standards and quality.
• Collaborating with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen staff to plan and execute the menu for the day or week.
• Help develop the skills of less experienced cooks.
• Reducing waste as much as possible and putting into practice innovative strategies for doing so.
• Following all applicable Health, Safety, and Hygiene policies and procedures at all times.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines regarding food safety.
• Always be neat and tidy, and make sure your uniform and personal appearance meet the high standards set by the resort.
