Yard Person job in New Zealand. Looking for a position as a Yard Person job in New Zealand? ENTELAR GROUP offers NZD 20-30 hourly for the Yard Person position. We need a Yard Person to help us out with our Mt. Wellington storage facility. As a member of our Fleet team, it will be your responsibility to help keep the yard and all of the trucks, trailers, and shared equipment in order.
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, with one monthly Saturday on the roster. A new Spark subsidiary, Entelar Group, combines the strengths of Entelar, Connect 8, and other Spark divisions. We offer comprehensive end-to-end services for our clients by way of our IT distribution, integrated supply chain, field, and network delivery. We have over 300 full-time employees and hundreds more who work as independent contractors across the country.

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• working with the Fleet, Mechanical, and Coordination teams, lifting up to 20kg, and keeping track of goods in the Fleetio Management system and Excel.
• Class 2 truck driving when necessary
• Carry or be ready to get a valid Class 1 Full or Class 2 license
• License to operate a counterbalance fork hoist (with an F endorsement, if possible).
• Have a background in heavy equipment operations or in managing hires.
• Do you desire local autonomy?
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Participate willingly wherever help is needed
• Enjoy a spotless history with the Justice and Transportation Ministries
