Salary for Yard person job:

• NZD 20-30 per hour

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• The Yard Supervisor will look to you, an experienced Timber Yard Person, for guidance and direction.
• You’ll also be expected to work closely with your team to deliver excellent customer service.
  Daily 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• (Roster) Saturday mornings 8 am-12 pm
• Construction site material unloading and loading
• Operating a forklift to fulfill clients’ order-picking and packing needs
• Maintaining a Neat and Tidy Backyard
• Must have current OSH-F certification
• Prior (but not required) experience working in a lumber yard
• capable of working in all weather conditions
• Strong enough to move various lumber sizes
• Superior aptitude with numbers; capable of working with metrics, lengths, and pieces
