Continuous Employment 38hrs Morning, evening, and weekend shifts will rotate on a daily basis. Finds the member’s car at the parking lot’s tire center, noting any preexisting body damage on the service order. Member drives their vehicle into the installation bay, up the hydraulic lift, and sets the vehicle’s brake. Using an impact gun, the wheel is removed. Transports the wheel to the mounting station and removes the tire. Installs new tire onto the wheel and inflates it to the correct pressure.

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Uses automatic balancing equipment to determine wheel weight and location.
• Uses a lead weight hammer to fasten lead weights to wheel rims.
• Remounts wheels on vehicles with an impact pistol and a hand torque wrench, following standard practice at the Tyre Centre
• Notifies supervisor or lead to perform a 9-point inspection and give permission to release the vehicle.
• Member drives into parking space and hands over keys and bill to the sales counter
• Checks tires for proper torque again after the manager/lead has done so.
• Fixes members’ flat tires
• Maintains a clean work area by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, spraying, and wiping
• Helps members figure out what they need, fields queries, and suggests products
• Makes sales of tires by convincing customers and ringing them up
• Tire sales and servicing bills are generated.

Overview

• Maintains proper paperwork and procedures for taking payments, making changes, processing credit and debit charges, issuing receipts, and submitting orders.
• Tire and battery refund amounts are calculated for returns under warranty.
• Discusses special orders, quantity, status, pricing, delivery, and promotion of items with the Tyre
• Centre manager, buyers, receiving department, and inventory auditors.
• Maintains the inventory of tires in the showroom in line with the Tyre Centre manager’s sales strategy
• Helps members by bringing their cars into the service facility and parking them in the lot when they’re done.
• Maintains a clean retail space by vacuuming, dusting, and mopping
• Observes all regulations and safety protocols.
