Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Educate employees on the environmental, operational health and safety, KORE, and any other relevant regulations they may face.
• After checking the safety and environmental criteria, issue work permits for the internal/contract staff.
• Make that the trash compactors are functioning properly.
• In charge of doling out PTWs as needed by the business.
• You will be in charge of ensuring that all safety-related machinery and tools are calibrated and verified in accordance with KORE and all applicable regulations.
• Sharing time with the Assistant Manager-EOSH, you’ll be in charge of all matters pertaining to employee safety, including audiometry, near-miss/incident/accident reports, FACR, and LTIR.
• Planning and carrying out internal audits of the SMS and EMS as needed.
• Timely Contingency Plan Preparation and Execution.
• Get the word out to the right people about environmental/operational health & safety / KORE issues as needed.
• Maintaining a zero-defect certification record for GMP, EMS, and OHSAS.
• Complete observance of all KORE standards and company policies.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• A diploma in industrial safety operations and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science are preferred.
• Have worked in environmental and safety management for at least three years, ideally in the food and beverage sector.
• Fire Marshal, First Aid, and NEBOSH certifications are all required.
