• QAR 20-40 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Performing a full inspection includes, but is not limited to, receiving, PN/SN recording, visual, measurement, and PT/UT inspections, as well as reporting the inspection data and report.
• Working on the assembly (In-Process) and final acceptance inspections and reporting the inspection data of components according to the set inspection criteria for gas turbine components and rotors, centrifugal compressor rotors, and steam turbine rotors.
• Doing visual, dimensional, and other inspections as required by the drawing or standard.
• Increasing NCR and rejecting cases of material disposition for products that don’t meet standards.
• Coordinating with the production staff to control nonconforming products, find them, document them, and put them in a holding place until the problem is fixed.
• Doing inspections and making inspection reports for products that don’t meet standards (NCR) and holding tags after inspection.
• Taking part in root cause analysis to find out what went wrong and what CAPA steps to take
• Checking and calibrating all measuring tools and testing equipment on a regular basis and making sure that all calibrations are up-to-date and meet all BH Standards and regulations.
• Make sure that the needed initial, intermediate, and final inspections are done right and that the right inspection records, reports, and forms are filled out before the product is released.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Have a high school diploma or a degree in engineering and work experience in the field.
• Have at least two years of experience doing inspections in a shop or company that fixes gas turbines.
• able to figure out what engineering drawings mean.
• Knows how to use inspection, measuring, and testing tools.
• Have skill in the repair of gas turbine parts
• Have ASNT Level II in NDT (PT, UT, and RT) methods.
• Self-starter who can work with little guidance.
• Good at talking to people
• Know how to use MS office
