• QAR 15-25 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Performing a full inspection, which may or may not involve the following steps: receiving; recording
• PN/SN; visual; dimension; PT/UT inspection; reporting inspection data; and reporting.
• Perform final acceptance inspections, as well as In-Process inspections of gas turbine components and rotors, centrifugal compressor rotors, and steam turbine rotors, and submit inspection data according to approved inspection standards.
• Carrying out inspections including visual, dimensional, and others as required by drawings and specifications.
• Cases of nonconforming merchandise are being rejected as NCRs are being raised.
• Control nonconforming product by coordinating with production staff to locate it, record its characteristics, and store it in a separate area until the problem is fixed.
• Conducting inspections and writing out inspection reports for non-conforming product (NCR and Hold tags).
• Engaging in Root Cause Analysis for Root Cause Identification and Corrective and Preventive Actions
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date calibrations of all measuring instruments and testing equipment in accordance with the relevant BH Standards and regulations.
• Release of a product is contingent upon having completed all necessary inspections, including preliminary, intermediate, and final checks, and having properly recorded and reported the results.
• Following all applicable safety and environmental regulations while on the job.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Possess either a high school diploma or GED in addition to relevant work experience.
• Minimum of two years’ experience doing inspections for a gas turbine service or repair facility.
• Skilled in comprehending technical diagrams.
• knows how to use testing, measuring, and inspection tools
• Expertise in repairing gas turbine components
• Completion of ASNT Level II in Nondestructive Testing (including PT, UT, and RT)
• Independent worker who can get things done with little oversight.
• Capable of conveying ideas clearly
• Know your way around Microsoft Office
