Salary:

• NZD 20-30 per hour

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Contribute to the farm’s strategic decision-making process.
• Help the management of the farm meet the criteria for animal health and welfare
• Help to keep correct records of stock, animal health treatments, grazing data, and effluent control, among other things.
• ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Health and Safety in Employment Act Providing
• assistance to the Farm Manager in order to guarantee that environmental compliance standards are consistently fulfilled or surpassed
• Milking 600 cows in a rotary shed with 50 bales, using cup removers, auto drafting, and in-shed feeding.
• Breaking out the feed Feeding out fencing
• Keeping a record and providing evidence of the actions carried out on the farm
• Control of weeds
• Farm upkeep
• Work with tractors
• Additional agricultural labor as needed
