Courier Driver job in New Zealand. Looking for a position as a Courier Driver job in New Zealand? BHARDWAJ & SONS LIMITED offers NZD 20-30 hourly for the Courier Driver position. We have a fleet of courier vans in Palmerston North, and we need qualified individuals to operate them. Every day at 4 a.m., the typical workday begins. You’ll need to be free on the weekends to meet the fluctuating demands of the company. You will also be required to submit to a drug test before being hired. There is no requirement for education or experience. However, prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable. We provide competitive wages between $27 and $30 per hour, based on relevant work experience. The lowest number of guaranteed hours per week is 30. However, based on your performance, you can earn up to forty additional hours.

The primary purpose of this position is to follow established protocols for the timely and accurate handling of all freight (Shorthaul, Local, and National).

Job responsibilities and duties:

As a worker, you will have to do and be responsible for the following:

• Freight arriving at the depot must be unloaded, sorted, and loaded per instructions.
• Pick up and drop off consumers in residential and commercial sectors according to schedule or at management’s direction.
• All cargo must be scanned in accordance with established protocols.
• Manage, confirm, and collect on all requests for ad hoc freight pickups under the established business policy.
• To fill out all necessary paperwork and run sheets
• Purpose: Check that all sales of courier labels and satchels adhere to established guidelines.
• To keep the provided car clean and in good working order on a regular basis.
• To check in with clients and address their concerns if they arise;
• Participate in Management-provided Training as Required.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by the Director
