Job Responsibilities and Overview:

  • Maintain uniformity in project documentation and communication with internal and external stakeholders through day-to-day support of the Clinical Competency initiative.
  • Coordinates the logistics (if any) and manages the meetings between evaluators and those being evaluated as part of the clinical competency initiative.
  • Help the Department Head and Project Managers organize meetings, draught reports, schedule the release of competency evaluations, and keep track of relevant papers.
  • Contribute to the creation and revision of clinical competency checklists, as well as the formulation of plans for continuing education and professional growth based on demonstrated competence. reports on progress to ensure deadlines are met
  • Manage and oversee programs related to Clinical Competency Development; compile and analyze data for reports and documentation; and schedule appropriate training and/or workshops.
  • Help in the writing of reports and other paperwork needed to satisfy legal mandates.
  • Help create local/national/international standards for competency evaluation frameworks/policies and protocols.
  • Cooperates with others inside and outside the organization to coordinate competency assessments and training
  • Uphold the company’s commitment to providing high-quality services and operating at peak efficiency in its clinical operations.
  • Formulate, execute, and report on clinical effectiveness evaluations to the Director of Clinical Effectiveness.
  • Helps the director of clinical effectiveness create plans to close improvement gaps and keep up with
  • Accreditation Canada (AC) or other national accreditation requirements.
  • Exercises independent professional judgment under general direction; keeps credentials current through participation in a wide range of in-house and extramural courses, workshops, and conferences.
