• QAR 20-40 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• To be well familiar with all of Qatar’s municipal legislation pertaining to hygiene and workplace health and safety.
• The supply of China, glassware, silverware, and other service ware in the kitchen and serving areas is your responsibility.
• You are in charge of keeping an eye on the night cleaners and any other support concession or contract cleaners on the premises.
• The equipment of the department falls within your purview, and you must ensure that it is properly stored, transported, and handled at all times.
• The stewarding department reviews and revises all job postings, job descriptions, and performance criteria.
• Maintains proper coverage of all areas of business by approving stewarding schedules.
• Stewarding equipment, cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, oil disposal, and hazardous chemicals all have specific protocols that must be followed, and the hotel’s chosen chemical supplier must oversee employee training on these processes. The same holds true for making sure employees are properly trained to use chemicals and other products used in the department.
• Develops and sustains productive partnerships across the organization to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Certification and HACCP compliance are 100% complete.
• Secondary education or training in the hospitality industry.
• Competence with computers and knowledge of inventory systems are prerequisites.
• Prior experience in a high-volume kitchen or full-service hotel is essential, preferably between three and five years.
