Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Supporting the flow of deliveries in and out of the loading bay guaranteeing safe, secure, and efficient service.
• Coordinating enquiries from residents for usage of the loading dock and car parking.
• Maintaining good liaison, open communication and creating connections with residents / all frequent delivery businesses.
• Ensure that the street level is kept in a well-presented manner.
• Informing the Purchasing / Loading Bay Manager of any Incidents within the Loading Bay area of operation.
• Follow protocols for loading bay operation – monitoring of dock congestion, peak hours of use, street access, complying with all health and safety rules
• Understand and get familiar with the orientation of the facility including; rubbish and recycling,
• loading bays, car parking, and location of facility systems pertaining to Dock operation.
• Operating the MRV lift for delivery vehicles to the loading bay.
• Operating the AVG automobile parking lift when needed.
• Coordinate stores utilizing best practice safety regulations for food handling and receiving.
• Carry out additional appropriate duties as specified by the Purchasing/Loading Bay Manager.

Qualification/ About the Applicant

• Experience in a loading bay or with logistics is helpful but not required.
• Proficient familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and other Office products
• Adaptable in terms of schedule and outlook on the job
• Consistently hard work
• Possessing strong interpersonal abilities and the capacity to effectively communicate with team members at all levels.
