We’ve teamed up with Containers for Change in Queensland and Western Australia to give our customers more ways to recycle their empty beverage containers and perhaps get them on board with the Clean Loop Recycling movement.

Working as a “Looper” at TOMRA means joining a group of people who care deeply about making a positive impact on the world around them. It is the job of our Recycling Centre Attendants to promote the Containers for Change Scheme and encourage repeat business from our loyal clientele. They do this by offering excellent service to visitors, keeping the recycling center neat and tidy, and making sure all of the machinery and sorting equipment functions as designed.

Salary for Recycling Centre Attendant job:

• AUD 20-30 per hour

Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Perform routine upkeep on our reversing vending machines and sorting gear
• Cleaning and maintaining the sorting machinery by emptying and restocking the bins as needed.
• Checking the recycling center for any dangers and reporting any issues immediately
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Care deeply about environmental protection and recycling
• Possess a good sense of detail and be driven to keep your workplace neat and tidy at all times.
• Promote safety because everyone deserves to get home to their families unharmed.
• Be adept at providing direct assistance to clients
• You’ll need to be physically fit because you’ll be doing some heavy lifting.
