Job Responsibilities and Overview:

• Sets hooks or forks beneath, above, or around loaded pallets, skids, cartons, items, or materials. connects vehicles to trailers through hitches and moves cargo to a predetermined location.
• Driver who operates forklift by operating a variety of levers and pedals.
• Raise and lower lifting device to unload and stack materials. Work with a lifting equipment to place or remove materials from pallets, skids, or other containers.
• Take stock of what’s lying around the factory floor and make sure employees always have what they need.
• Takes on a variety of other tasks as needed.
• Capacity to reason clearly and follow straightforward, one- or two-step directions.
• Capacity to handle routine conditions where few or no changes occur.
• All warehouse workers, regardless of their assigned duties, must have unimpeded access to the auditory warning signals (bells, alarms, horns) used to alert them to the start, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations.
• Identifies and employs standard operating procedures to resolve problems of routine significance
