Participate in or observe the destruction and non-destruction testing of welded components in accordance with applicable international codes and company specifications, as well as the qualification of welding procedures (WPS) and welders (Procedure Qualification Record, PQR). The daily rate for a 12-hour shift on site is QAR 375, and the daily food stipend is QAR 35. The business will arrange for roommates, rides, insurance, and a “mob-demob” ticket to be split by its clients.

Job Responsibilities and Overview:
- Observe the heat treatment in accordance with the established protocol.
- For QAJQC’s welding activity, both new and maintenance applications, you need to make an exhaustive ITP.
- Conduct QAJQC compliance inspections as per the accepted ITP.
- Perform a battery of destructive (DPT/MP, Ferrite, Hardness, etc.) and nondestructive tests.
- The QAJQC dossier for welding has to be reviewed and prepared.
- Create a detailed inspection report on the welding work that has been allocated to you.
Qualification/ About the Applicant
- Mechanical Engineering Welding Degree or Certificate Inspectors need to have a minimum of ten 10) years of experience in the industry,
- five (5) of which must be spent working as welding inspectors in a piping fabrication/project setting compliant with CSWIP 3.1/AWS CWI.
- Inspectors shall be well-versed in all applicable codes and standards (AWS, ASME SEC.IX, ASME Sec.
- V, ASME Sec. VIII) relating to the planning, execution, quality assurance, quality control, and nondestructive testing (NDT) of welding.
